75 Soft
Four simple habits, every day for 75 days. Miss a day and you keep going.
75 Soft is the gentler version of 75 Hard. You still do a short list of things every day for 75 days, but the list is realistic and missing a day doesn't send you back to Day 1.
The habits themselves are easy: move, drink water, read, and eat well. The hard part is doing all four every day for eleven weeks, and that part gets easier when a few friends can see whether you did.
The rules
- 45 minutes of exercise every day. One walk per week can count as a rest day.
- Drink 3 liters of water daily.
- Read 10 pages of any book. Audiobooks count if your group agrees.
- Follow a diet of your choosing. Alcohol only on social occasions.
- If you miss a day, leave it unchecked and keep going. No restarting from zero.
The no-restart rule is what makes 75 Soft finishable. One missed day stays one missed day instead of wiping out weeks of progress.
Why do it with a group
Seventy-five days is long enough that the novelty wears off well before the finish is in sight. Knowing your group can see your board helps on the days you would otherwise skip.
On ChallengeBoard everyone checks in once a day, with an optional note, and the whole group can see who has.
Run 75 Soft on the board
Create the challenge in about a minute, start on your own or invite your group with a link, and check in once a day. Everyone in the challenge can see who has checked in.

What is the difference between 75 Hard and 75 Soft?
75 Hard requires two workouts a day (one outdoors), a gallon of water, a strict diet with no alcohol, a daily progress photo, and a full restart if you miss anything. 75 Soft keeps the daily structure but asks for one workout, 3 liters of water, and no restarts.
Can I start on any day?
Yes. Pick a start date, invite your group before Day 1 if you can, and begin.
What counts as a check-in?
Completing all four daily habits. If you only manage three, leave the day unchecked. The board is most useful when everyone checks in honestly.
